ABOUT ME
My Story
When I was in second grade, I went to Galena, Illinois on a weekend camp out for Cub Scouts. They had a blacksmith shop there. Naturally, I wanted to check it out. I went in to do so, saw it, and immediately said to myself: "That is what I want to for the rest of my life." At the gift shop portion, they had small, demonstration anvils for sale. My dad me bought one, took it home, and started smithing on a hot dog roaster using the campfire as my forge. Within the next few years I was given two hammers, some Copper and Brass stock to practice with. I was later given a much larger Harbor Freight anvil to use. When I was about 16 or so, I made my first forge using a cast iron frying pan, a steel bucket, and a tail pipe. Over the years, I gathered more and better equipment, as well as the skills to develop my hobby into a business.
